Relationships in Mind is a private psychology & counselling service with a focus on trauma & neglect, and relationships. We work with most mental health concerns and especially welcome difficulties that are complex and longstanding.
Based on the frameworks of psychoanalysis & attachment theory, we take a holistic approach that aims to alleviate symptoms of anxiety and depression, as well as help you to realise your full potential.
Start with a 90 minute face to face or online meeting
This is an opportunity to explore you situation together and begin developing a shared understanding of your difficulties and how to address them. A consultation is “trial therapy” and often brings some relief and improvement immediately.
A way forward
When you start therapy we agree to the same time and day every week to build momentum and maximise consistency and predictability. Our work can be brief or open ended based on your needs. Counselling allows us to see invisible patterns that interfere with living a fulfilling life. Therapy also provides a space in which to connect with emotions in the presence of a person who can help you to think about and process them.
